I was out with a friend a couple of days back and we had this conversation about money and whether it rules us or not and then of course he said "yes, the money makes the world go round" like literally makes the world go round in terms of balance and what not and then i came up with another question, which, i think goes something like this "but is it important?" and he said "it is" then we got into this argument and i ended with "you see, the thing is that, if you think about, Ghandi, Buddha and people like that didn't need money to be important people"
in conclusion, money is just a luxury. of course all these famous figures had to go through hell to be recognised by it does not point out the fact that money is as important as we think it is. money, in some ways, is indeed over-rated.
Ghandi once said, "Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed" and in some ways this is true. each and every one of us at some point in our lives have once and will say "but, i want more". why want more if you don't need it?
i think that people are too self-centred. i've said this once and i'll say it again:
it is rare, if never, one says "here have mine".
Later lovelies.
Hope you all had a great weekend.
